The What, How & Why of the Life Insurance Asset

Today, I want to use the concept that Simon Sinek uses in his book and he describes the concept of the Golden Circles.

The What

The How

And the Why

That you might do what you do, specifically for businesses.

Let’s use this as an example: Starbucks. What do they do? They make coffee. You can get coffee a lot of different places. They do nothing unusual when it comes to making coffee. But how do they do it? They do it in a unique way. They pick perfect coffee beans, perfect grinders, perfect machines, and perfect ambiance to be able to get people to gather together and have coffee at Starbucks. But what is the why? Why do they do this? With Starbucks, they wanted to be the Third Place. There are two Places that we have in our lives: our home and our work. Starbucks decided they wanted to become the Third Place. So, even though they make coffee and they make it in a unique/special way, they wanted to become the Third Place. Where people would congregate. Where people would meet.

I want to use the example of the Golden Circles to describe why I wrote my book Investments Don’t Hug: Embracing the Life Insurance Asset. What is the book all about? It’s about life insurance. It’s about life insurance where I have basically documented how it works, how you decide the amount, and the type of insurance that you should have in your life, on your life, and on your family’s life. How it can make exponential changes in your family both in the future and now. Regarding a place where you can have your safe money. Where you can have money that will be there for opportunities. Money there for emergencies.

What is the how that I describe in my book? The how in my book is that this book is filled with love stories. Love stories of real people that I’ve known. Real people that I’ve worked with for over a generation and the how is how this life insurance asset played out in their lives. I like to describe this book as love stories. The first chapter is a love story. The second chapter is a love story. The third chapter a love story. The fourth chapter a love story. It’s not until chapter five that you start receiving the what and the how that we actually do this. Now to the why. Why did I write Investments Don’t Hug: Embracing the Life Insurance Asset? The why is to be able to make a forever impact on the lives of every possible person that this book can touch. Every possible person I can touch through this book.
